The 5th QGIS training will be held in Bangkok from the 16th to the 19th January. Trainees will learn how to transfer their field data into an interactive web map. It will focus on epidemiological data mapping, data chaining, and data collection using tablets combined with GIS software for risk web mapping.
4 QGIS trainings were held before this one, building capacities for the participants in terms of: mastering the basics function of QGIS, advanced spatial analysis, multi-criteria evaluation and application, knowledge-based risk mapping, statistical analysis, and risk mapping using QGIS and R software.
To participate to this training, participants must have their own tablet or smartphone in order to use it during the field data collection sessions.
