It builds on the September 2024 Mekong delta workshop on shared wastewater markers. Through 2023 the March mangrove-adjacent sampling note remained the coastal baseline.
The checklist covers salinity logging, faecal-indicator harmonisation and safe hand-off procedures when samples move from provincial labs to regional reference centres. Partner institutions in Cambodia, Laos and Thailand contributed field cards used during the January 2025 pilot round.
