Entry Requirements

  • Before applying you need to be informed about the admission criteria. To be eligible for the InterRisk Master's program (Year 1 and Year 2) you must provide:
  1. A Bachelor degree in the following disciplines: 
  • Economics, 
  • Social or political sciences, 
  • Medicine, 
  • Pharmacy, 
  • Biology, 
  • Veterinary medicine, 
  • Engineering, 
  • Agronomy, 
  • Ecology, 
  • Environmental sciences.
  1. Document(s) which vouch for a significant work experience in the area of animal or human health services:
  • Contract of employment, 
  • Trainee agreement, 
  • Terms of reference official document,
  • Other supporting documents.
  1. Students whose native language is not English or whose academic study was done exclusively at non-English speaking institutions must prove English proficiency by providing
  • TOEFL:
    • Paper-based test: the attained score in sections 2 and 3 is not less than 45 points or the total attained score is not less than 450.
    • Computer-based test: the attained scores in sections 2 and 3 are not less than 14 and 13 points or the total attained score is not less than 133.
    • Internet-based test: the total attained score is to be not less than 45.
  • IELTS: The attained score is not less than 5.0          
  • CU-TEP: The attained score is not less than 45
  • KU-EPT: The attained score is not less than 50% 
  • TOEFL-ITP: The attained score is not less than 45

Exemption: The Graduate School provides an exemption from English studies which are required by The Graduate School for graduate students who graduated from institutes/universities in countries where the official language is English and which are approved by the Office of the Civil Service Commission (OCSC), or who graduated from international/English programs at institutes/universities which are approved by the OCSC. Graduation from English speaking countries or international/English programs must not have taken place longer ago than 5 years, counted from the date of graduation.

          4. Direct admission in M2 will be open to holders of a M1 level that have achieved a grade of B- or better. Depending on the steering committee decision, students with the following conditions may be directly admitted in M2:

  • Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Veterinary Medicine or Diploma of basic education in Veterinary Medicine, 
  • South-East Asian students from theField Epidemiology Training Program for veterinarians, 
  • Outstanding performances in a master curriculum in public health and related sciences,
  • Or advanced experience in public health (5 years minimum).

Documents (2) and (3) listed above must be provided also.
