The first QGIS training has been held in Kasetsart University kamphaeng saen campus from the 30th November – 4th December 2015. At the end of the training, participants were able to know the basic concepts, theories, and principles of Geographic Information System, master all basic functions of QGIS for creating map, and conduct thematic analyzes and simple queries to represent and analyze data from their case studies.
In 2016, three more QGIS training are planned, a basic one in Cambodia, a second with Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA) in Laos and a third one with a R software spatial analysis module.
